Appliqué Files for Etsy Sellers and Shops
Updated October 15, 2026
If you sell personalized shirts, bags or blankets, speed and consistency matter. A tool that gives you a ready-to-stitch file from typed text, with the same settings every time, lets you take custom orders without digitizing each one by hand.
A simple workflow for custom orders
- Take the name or word and choose the font and color with the customer.
- Generate the file in the appliqué tool, check the free preview and size, and download DST, PES and EXP plus the cut file.
- Cut the fabric shapes with your cutting machine using the SVG; see using the cut file.
- Stitch a test, then the order.
Keep your settings consistent
Pick one font, satin width and tack-down type that you like for each product and reuse them. The tool opens with your settings in the link, so you can bookmark a starting point. A consistent look also makes batch work faster.
Team names in bulk
For jerseys, class shirts and event lists, the lettering designer can make up to 50 names in one purchase with the same font, size and color, delivered as one ZIP. Appliqué designs are made one at a time.
Pricing and use of the files
See plans and pricing for pay-per-design and prepaid options; a prepaid plan lowers the cost per design if you order often. Read the terms and conditions for how you may use the files.
