Features

Everything you can stitch,
shown, not described.

Every image on this page is a real stitch preview from the same engine that makes your production files. Click any image to see it full size.

Lettering

Type text, pick an embroidery font, get a production-ready file.

Real embroidery fonts

Pick from a large catalogue of fonts digitized for embroidery — sans-serif, serif, script and display styles. Each one is stitched by the same engine that punches your production file, so the preview is the stitch, not a font mockup. Every font has its own supported size range, and the tool tells you when a height is out of range.

  • Sans-serif
  • Serif
  • Script
  • Display

Thread color

Choose any thread color for the lettering. The preview draws the stitches in that color, and the production sheet lists it for whoever loads the machine.

  • Any hex color

Letter size

Size the design by letter height, which stays the same whatever you type, or by the full bounding-box height of the finished design when it has to fit a fixed space. Pick millimetres or inches.

  • Letter height
  • Bounding-box height
  • mm or inches

Letter spacing

Tighten or loosen the gap between every pair of letters. Negative values pull letters together for a compact look; positive values open them up for a wide, airy one.

  • Tighter or wider
  • Per line when stacked

Word spacing

Set the gap between words separately from the gap between letters, so a phrase can breathe without the letters inside each word drifting apart.

  • Per line when stacked

Multi-line text and alignment

Stack two lines of text and align them left, center or right. Block and letter-spaced alignments stretch the lines to fill the design's full width. A line gap setting controls how far apart the lines sit.

  • Left
  • Center
  • Right
  • Block
  • Letter-spaced
  • Line gap

A different size on every line

Give each line its own height, its own letter and word spacing, and its own gap to the next line. A big surname over a small family line is one design, not two files.

  • Height per line
  • Spacing per line
  • Gap per line

A different color on every line

Color each line separately. The design gets a color change between lines, and the production sheet shows the thread order.

  • Thread color per line

Arc layout

Bend the text around a circle for caps, patches and badges. Choose the radius and where the first letter starts on the circle, and flip the letters upside-down to hang from the arc for text along the bottom of a badge or seal. A second line nests as a smaller ring inside.

  • Radius
  • Start angle
  • Normal / upside-down

Monogram borders

Add a stitched satin border around the finished lettering: circle, oval, square or rectangle. Choose the padding around the text, the border width, how dense the satin is, and a separate border color.

  • Circle
  • Oval
  • Square
  • Rectangle
  • Padding
  • Width
  • Density
  • Border color

Team names, in bulk

Paste a list of names (up to 50) and get one design per name, all with the same font, size, color and layout, bundled into one purchase and one ZIP download. Built for team jerseys, class shirts and event lists.

  • Up to 50 names
  • One ZIP download

Also included

Cut the thread after each letter, each word, each line, or not at all.
Sew from center
Start the design from its center point, the way caps and hats are sewn.
TrueView preview
A stitch-accurate preview of the real file, plus a player that sews it in order.
Production files
DST, PES and EXP files for any machine, plus a production sheet PDF.

Appliqué

Fabric letters with placement, tack-down and a satin border, plus a matching cut file.

Open the appliqué tool →

Three-stage appliqué digitizing

Appliqué is sewn in the order a machine needs it: a placement line that marks where the fabric goes, a tack-down that holds it, then the satin border that covers the raw edge. Each stage is its own color block, so the machine pauses where you lay the fabric.

  • Placement
  • Tack-down
  • Satin cover

A large font catalogue, any size

Appliqué letters come from real typographic fonts, traced into true vector outlines, so any font renders cleanly at any size from 2 inches up to 10. Block, script and heavy display styles all work.

  • Block
  • Script
  • Heavy display
  • 2 to 10 inches

Border width

Set how wide the satin border is, from a fine 1 mm edge to a bold 8 mm one. A separate tack-down width controls the hidden guide stitching under it.

  • 1 to 8 mm satin
  • Tack-down width

True sharp points

Where a font draws a sharp point, such as the apex of an A, the tip of a V or the arms of a K, the border keeps that exact shape instead of rounding it off. The tip is stitched as its own solid patch. It is on by default, and can be switched off for a softer, rounder look.

  • On by default
  • Rounded alternative

Merge overlapping letters

Script and connected fonts have letters that overlap on purpose. Turn on merge and the overlapping letters are outlined as one shape, so the border doesn't run through the middle of a join. The tool suggests turning it on when you pick a script font.

  • Suggested for script fonts

Four layouts

Straight text, a circular arc, a varsity arch whose letters fan out along the curve, or an arch with straight sides, where only the top and bottom edges bend and every side stays upright. Arches can curve up or down, and you control how much.

  • Straight
  • Arched
  • Varsity arch
  • Arch, straight sides
  • Curve amount

Satin or tackle twill finish

Finish the edge with a dense satin cover, the classic solid appliqué border, or switch to a tackle-twill zigzag, a single zigzag pass in your chosen color with no separate satin stage.

  • Satin
  • Zigzag (tackle twill)
  • Zigzag spacing

Puff appliqué

Raise the satin border off the fabric with a layer of foam. The machine pauses between tack-down and satin so you can lay the foam, and the satin density and pull compensation are tuned for stitching over foam.

  • Foam layer
  • Satin density
  • Pull compensation

A cut file for your fabric

Every appliqué order includes an SVG cut file with the exact letter outline, counters included, for a laser cutter or cutting machine, so the fabric pieces match the stitching.

  • SVG
  • Counters included

Also included

Fabric type
Stable, woven or stretch. Stretchier fabric gets more built-in allowance for pull.
Letter spacing
Open up or tighten the gap between letters.
Trim mode
Trim the thread after each letter, or never cut within a stage.
Production files
DST, PES and EXP files plus a production sheet PDF and the SVG cut file.

The features work together. These designs each combine several settings, all available in the tools.
